For air heating and radiation heating Backer tubular element are the most popular alternative. Backer manages a large number of production techniques, giving a choice within a wide range of element types. An optimal heat solution of an application is decided by user environment and operating temperature. Backer for example can supply element with an operating temperature of as much as 900°C.
Benefits – Stone heaters
Our Ceramic Heater offers a unique tecnical design and high durability. It comes with or without fins (which of course can be customized). The fact that the flat pins are integrated takes away the risk of damage. This, so called, sandwich element can either be inserted or mounted with fixations (the latter for class 2). The Ceramic Heater is light weight with an aesthetic finish and high inertia.
- Accumulated effect /high inertia
- Even heat distribution
- Soft heat
- Light weight
- High durability
- No risk of leakage
- Aesthetic finish
Examples of applications | Tubular air heating elements for everyday and everywhere

Fixing and connection devices
Cost savings can often be made if elements are fitted with connection and attachment devices during manufacturing. We offer several standard solutions. We can also supply special flanges and alternative methods of fixing made completely according to our clients’ specifications. When selecting connection and fixing devices it is often important to bear in mind the size of the series. Do you want to know more about our fixing and connection devices? Please contact us.
Types of cables and wiring
The heating elements can be supplied with connecting wiring which is normally spot welded to the terminal pins. Uninsulated as well as insulated wiring is available. Uninsulated wiring can be fitted with insulating tubing. The joint between the wiring and the terminal pin can also be fitted with insulating tubing if required.
